About the editors

David S. Goldbloom, OC, MD, FRCPC, is a psychiatrist and senior medical advisor at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and a professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He served as vice-chair and then chair of the Board of the Mental Health Commission of Canada from 2007 to 2015. Dr. Goldbloom is an Officer of the Order of Canada.

Jon Davine, MD, CCFP, FRCPC, is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, with a cross-appointment in the Department of Family Medicine. His outpatient psychiatry practice focuses on liaising with primary care physicians in the shared care model. In 2013, he was awarded the Certificate of Merit Award by the Canadian Association for Medical Education, and in 2018, he was awarded the Association of Chairs of Psychiatry in Canada Award for Excellence in Education.
