About the Authors

Sean Kidd, PhD, is a clinical psychologist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto, and an associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Toronto.

Athena Madan, PhD, social justice education, and Susmitha Rallabandi, MD, MA, public health, are CAMH postdoctoral fellows.

Donald Cole, PhD, is a professor of public health at the University of Toronto. He is internationally recognized for his work in global agricultural intervention, equity and evaluation.

Elisha Muskat, MBA, is the executive director of Ashoka Canada, a global association of the world’s leading social entrepreneurs.

Shoba Raja, MA, is a special advisor with BasicNeeds, an international non-governmental organization that works to improve the lives of people with mental illness and epilepsy.

Kwame McKenzie, PhD, is co-director of the Division of Equity, Gender and Population at the University of Toronto, and medical director of the Underserved Populations Program at CAMH.

David Wiljer, PhD, is the senior director of Transformational Education and Academic Advancement at CAMH.
